Caro's extensive ICT and communications talents developed over 20 years add a unique facet to the CZM service. Her stakeholder consultation and facilitation is exceptional and the synergy between ContentPlus and CZM delivers added value for clients.  Not only do clients enjoy CZM's elite team in coastal management, but they benefit from the expertise of creative sister company ContentPlus, led by Caro, which takes the service to a new dimension.

  • Carolyn Kay has over 20 years experience in information management, marketing, capacity building, ICT and communications. Caro has a strong interest in the environment and has worked extensively with key environmental and coastal management agencies on diverse projects.
  • Exemplary skills in communication, stakeholder relations including consultation/management and facilitation. She is a trained group skills facilitator and has run numerous workshops for government industry and the community.
  • Climate change project experience includes consultation programs for various UN agencies including UNEP Marine and Coastal Strategy stakeholder consultation workshop in Copenhagen/Nairobi, January 2009.
  • Caro is also the Director and Principal Consultant of ContentPlus, sister company of Coastal Zone Management. ContentPlus specialises in the delivery of digital and online content, education and communications.
  • ContentPlus works in alignment with various environmental organisations and public sector agencies to produce toolkits, resource guides and other educational materials.

Little known fact

Caro is actively involved as a board member and communications specialist for CASE for Refugees, a community legal centre in Western Australia providing specialist legal assistance to refugees.
