| Coastal vulnerability assessments require detailed information on beach erosion. When considering the impacts of climate change, shoreline evolution models are applied to predict rates of erosion and shoreline change. However, limitations to current models, such as SBEACH, are widely recognised.
In recognition of the number of site specific coastal vulnerability assessments that are required in Western Australia, there is the need for detailed and appropriate shoreline evolution models.
I would appreciate any information that CVAAN members may have on models that they have had success with, and/or methods of decreasing uncertainty with current models. | 1 | 10/19/2007 3:29 PM | HOSTING\vs271025 |
