What
is CVAAN’s purpose?
The overriding aim of CVAAN
is to encourage knowledge sharing in relation to vulnerability
and adaptation (V&A) assessment for the coastal zone. Please REGISTER
to ensure that you can upload reports, articles, or papers
relating to the themes under consideration as you browse the site.
Also, REGISTER
and communicate with experts in the field of V&A assessment.
The value of this tool lies
in the level of knowledge sharing, so upload relevant links and documents and
‘share the knowledge’ of Coastal Vulnerability and Adaptation Assessment.
The information
presented is intended as background material for those interested
in seeking a better understanding of the issues related to coastal
vulnerability and adaptation assessment.
Many topics are interlinked and cross-cutting and will be revisited
within the Impacts, Assessment and Adaptation sections of this website.
Each of the three
sections consist of an overview to provide background information
on the selected topic in addition to links to related projects, reports,
research and education.
